Lindsay employs a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to meet clients where they are, respecting their unique lived experiences. Utilizing methods such as Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), mindfulness, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), her focus is on creating a therapy experience that supports the development of practical coping skills through a trauma-informed lens, considering the impact of intersectionalities on mental well-being.
Qualifications and Memberships
Lindsay's qualifications include certificates in Child and Youth Behaviour Strategies and Addictions Counselling from Mount Royal University, alongside completing Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Her extensive experience spans from working with adolescents in care to advocating for mental health supports across various levels of government, and providing therapy for clients across the lifespan in not-for-profit settings.
